ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for a Regional Operations Manager.
The role of the Regional Operations Manager is to responsibly manage the regional operational resources, assets and budgets to drive regional profitable net financial performance and deliver agreed operational service levels.
In collaboration with the Regional Management Team and key stakeholders, identify and deliver the commercial and operational strategy to win regionally and for the Out of Home route to market as a whole. Utilise business insights to support evidence-based decision making to create competitive advantage, identify continuous improvement opportunities, drive efficiency & reduce operating costs whilst delivering agreed customer service standards.
Lead, motivate & engage a regionally based cross functional technical, delivery and customer service teams to achieve agreed customer service levels and ensuring safe working systems are embedded throughout daily operations within the field and in depots. Focused on developing, embedding and sustaining a culture where challenges are positively viewed as opportunities, where people can be themselves, and talent is nurtured to grow.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
- Managing operational overheads budget and responsible for processing regional POs.
- Delivery of regional balanced scorecard on a monthly & annual basis.
- Contribute to the development of an overheads budget forecast for the region.
- Contribute to the development of a commercial forecast for the region - products & consumables volume and equipment install/exchanges.
- Demonstrate effective leadership with the ability to engage, motivate, & develop others in accordance with OOH leadership culture, company values and wellbeing & talent strategies.
- Responsible for hub/depot workplace & facilities management compliance, supporting the day to day management, and delivery of workplace & facilities management audit improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance to all legal, people, workplace & facilities management, technical, marketing and financial policies & practices and the OOH governance framework within region.
- Regional fleet vehicle management & provider relationship management including forecasting, compliance, ordering, reallocation, returns, telematics, route planning efficiencies.
- Effectively forecast & deploy people resource to ensure daily hours of operations are covered, manage third party people resource supplier relationships and ensuring all people overheads are within budget.
- Regularly reviews operational workforce planning & employee development requirements ensuring that relevant people practices are undertaken to fulfil identified needs.
- Scheduling of customer planned maintenance activities in accordance with customer segmentation categorisation.
- Manage regional asset write off process for unviable equipment & stock, overseeing & arranging responsible disposal.
- Lead asset & stock movement/adjustment anomaly investigations.
- Investigate customer complaints, establishing root cause and identifying corrective improvement actions.
- Leads /contributes to functional projects and drives operational performance.
- Ensure standard operating procedures & standardised training processes and documentation are up to date and embedded across regional operations function.
- Ensure regional operational compliance to all mandatory training requirements, and actively manages own development & learning opportunities.
YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:
- Solid understanding of the Out of Home market, products & equipment
- Commercial awareness & business acumen and knowledge of how to operationally deliver profitable net financial performance
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships quickly & effectively across all levels and influence key stakeholders internally & externally
- Analytical and data driven, able to interpret information from multiple sources to identify business insights make evidence based decisions
- Proactive problem-solving & root cause analysis skills
- Stock & asset forecasting & management
- Knowledge of operational legal compliance (safety, quality, people, technical), a good understanding of governance frameworks and ability to work consistently within a formal operating model
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and change management processes
- Effective organisational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment & to lead through others to achieve key performance metrics
- Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
- Developing others through effective coaching and feedback
- Computer literate and digitally savvy with IT & business systems
