ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

 

We are looking for a PMO Coordinator to join us at our head office in Newton-le-Willows. 

The role will be responsible for providing day to day support to the PMO Team which will include updating reports in addition to supporting the co-ordination of projects through the complete project life-cycles

 

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

 

  • Coordinating project management activities, resources updates and documentation
  • Supporting set up of new projects and manage project governance process(es)
  • Undertaking administrative tasks as specified by PMO team
  • Participating in project meetings/workshops with guidance from members of PMO team as appropriate and when required
  • Assisting the project manager in developing a project plan and tracking activities against the plans, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate
  • Assisting in day-to-day administration and organisation of the project management systems and processes
  • Supporting  the delivery of assigned project tasks or small projects within the portfolio
  • Any other project management related activities as requested

 

YOU WILL HAVE: 

 

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical approach
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
  • Good all-round knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to accurately document and maintain records accordingly
  • Understanding of project life cycle and project management stages
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Previous project administrator / coordinator experience
