We’re looking for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join our Vimto finance team supporting our UK Packaged commercial team in delivering their business KPIs for their route to market which covers our range of owned and licensed brands including Vimto, Levi Roots and SLUSH PUPPiE. These are all available in a range of distribution outlets, from major grocery stores and wholesalers, to convenience stores and independent retailers.

You will proactively support the teams with procedures and control systems - in order to achieve the financial and business objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions and timely delivery of management information. You will also assist and advise the Finance Business partners and other stakeholders.

 

It really is an exciting and varied role that we have available in our Vimto finance team and we’ve detailed below a little more about the duties within the role:

*        Drive continual development and processes to meet the evolving business needs and proactively support the delivery of efficient and effective management reporting

*        Actively build relationships with all key stakeholders to foster a ‘team’ mentality

*        Assist in the compilation of the annual budget

*        Effectively communicate with the Sales Team becoming the key Finance contact

*        Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly financial reports

*        Preparation of monthly budget/ forecast and prior year variance analysis to Senior Finance Business Partner

*        Proactively managing deadlines and priorities to ensure deadlines are met whilst professional standards are maintained.

*        Perform regular month end accounting including accruals and prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.

*        Regular maintenance and management of financial systems (Sage and Exceedra)

*        Prepare audit information prior to external audit

*        Key Finance lead in our promotions management and forecasting tool

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED;

*        Currently studying CIMA (preferable) OR you've completed your AAT with plans for further study

*        Experience in an assistant FBP role preferred, some experience in a Finance role is essential
